Temporary files: always clear your user temp folder, this folder sometimes contains more than 1 gb useless data.
type %temp% in run command , This will open temp folder for you.

Recent: delete all files from recent directory
type recent in run command to open recent folder

Clean up: run clean up task for every Hard Drive

Defragment: Run this tool for each drive

Remove unnecessary files from your hard drive.

disconnect from network drives which are down

Hiding or Removing Component Heading from Joomla Article

I have spent almost 2 days to figure out how to Hide or Remove component heading from Joomla Article 1.6.

There was no "Article" heading text with articles which were link with menu items, and the rest articles had this heading.

I tried all tricks, changed global settings options, create new articles, edit the articles but no positive result. Finally I went to style.css of my template and added

display: none; code to .componentheading part as follow. And this did the job.

.componentheading { display: none; font-style:italic;font-size:25px; margin:0; padding:0 0 10px 0; color:#1a528c;}
